Simplifhy at SMAU Milan 2024: startups meet in Milan on 29 and 30 October

Simplifhy participates in SMAU Milano 2024, scheduled on October 29 and 30 at Fieramilanocity. This is Italy’s benchmark event on innovation and start-ups.

SMAU Milano represents a unique opportunity to find innovative proposals and ideas and to get to know possible strategic partners for your business. In fact, this event hosts over 150 start-ups that use technology to improve sustainability, efficiency and quality of life in various sectors:

In addition, over 50 free workshops are scheduled to keep up to date with the latest technology trends. Companies also have the opportunity to participate in numerous networking events to get in touch with other innovative companies.

In addition, the rich Live Show programme offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the innovation experiences of many companies and organisations.

One of the most eagerly awaited moments of the event is the SMAU Innovation Award, which will be presented to the companies and organisations considered to be the most innovative in Italy.

Simplifhy’s presence at SMAU Milan 2024

We at Simplifhy have been invited to attend SMAU Milan with a stand where we will present our products for hydrogen production and storage. In particular, we will present the advantages of our solutions:

In addition, on 29 October 2024 at 4 p.m. at Studio TV 2 we will have the opportunity to do a 90-second speed pitching during the Live Show ‘Monitoring and Security: Optimising efficiency and reducing risks with advanced solutions’.

We will also hold another 90-second speed pitching, in English, on 30 October 2024 at 12 noon in Arena 4, as part of the pitching session ‘2 minutes to discover the best startups in Industry and Smart Manufacturing’.

In addition, we will take part as auditors in the Working Table ‘Opportunities enabled by Open Innovation in the challenge of the energy transition’, scheduled on 29 October 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Innovation Lab 2. This is an invitation-only event, attended by selected companies to share experiences of innovation and new areas for future development.

Finally, we will be among the companies taking part in the Startup Safaris. In fact, these guided tours will also include a visit to our stand, during which we will have the opportunity to present our offer and answer any questions participants may have.

H2-POWER for energy conservation

H2-POWER is an ideal integrated system for those who need to store their energy production for long periods. In particular, H2-POWER is particularly suitable for use in remote locations that do not have access to the electricity grid.

Specifically, this solution integrates the production and storage of hydrogen with electric cogeneration through the fuel cell.

The H2-POWER system has an energy consumption of 4.8 kWh/Nm³ and a water consumption of 0.8 l/Nm³ of H₂. It produces a rated electrical power of 1 to 5 kW and has an output voltage of 48 VDC and 28 kWh of electrical autonomy (with standard storage) and 10 hours of operation at rated power. In addition, it has a storage unit of 800 litres @30 bar, with a recharge time of 22 hours.

H2-GEN for optional hydrogen production and storage

H2-GEN is an integrated system developed for the production and storage of hydrogen. In particular, this solution is ideal for use within the industrial processes of small and large companies using hydrogen. In fact, it allows companies to become autonomous in the production of hydrogen, which currently comes from fossil fuels and is delivered via transport in tanker trucks.

H2-GEN consists of a modular electrolysis cabinet equipped with technologies for safety, proper use and remote connection for maintenance and data collection. This cabinet provides an energy consumption of 2.4 to 9.6 kWh/Nm³ and a water consumption of 0.8 l/Nm³ of H₂. It provides a hydrogen output of 0.5 to 2 Nm³/h @ 30 bar.

Compressorless HRS for compressorless hydrogen refuelling

Compressorless HRS is a mobile dispenser for compressorless hydrogen vehicle refuelling. This solution enables a quick and safe supply of hydrogen vehicles in various contexts. In particular, this dispenser is suitable for connection to various types of vehicles, buses and boats.

The gas is brought to the site via storage units at 500 bar together with the delivery system. Once at the destination, the two systems are connected with a hose and the system is immediately ready to dispense hydrogen. Once the refuelling process is complete, the system is disassembled and removed.

The HRS Compressorless dispenser is capable of producing an electrical power of less than 5kW and guarantees a dispensing pressure of 350 bar.
