Our hydrogen success stories
Simplifhy deals with the engineering and realisation of plants using hydrogen as an energy carrier and alternative fuel in various application areas.
Below are our outstanding case histories showing how our solutions have been successfully applied, delivering concrete and measurable results.
ITS Green
We have set up an innovative hydrogen laboratory in collaboration with the ITS GREEN Academy in Vimercate. This facility enables students to engage in study and experimentation, as well as the simulation of industrial processes, through the use of advanced hydrogen-based equipment. The laboratory includes state-of-the-art modules for hydrogen production, AEM technologies, PEM fuel cells, and hydrogen compression and storage systems.
Enapter
In just four months, we designed, integrated and delivered a 50 Nm³/h hydrogen production plant based on AEM technology. This is a 250 kW electrolyser and represents the first project completed as part of our core partnership with Enapter. The success of this first delivery, achieved in an extremely short timeframe, has convinced Enapter to entrust us with a second international project of 120 kW.
Hynego Project
Thanks to our collaboration with Axpo Solutions AG, we are involved in the Hynego project for the production of green hydrogen for ISAB, one of Europe’s largest refineries. The project involves an investment of over €200 million to install a 100 MW electrolysis plant at the Priolo petrochemical site in Sicily. In a second phase, the project could be expanded to reach a capacity of 300 MW to supply green hydrogen to other industrial sites in the area as well.
ISAM
The partnership between Simplifhy and ISAM s.r.l. was created with the aim of creating an advanced energy management system that integrates ISAM’s storage technologies with Simplifhy’s energy optimisation platforms. This solution can be used in remote locations that do not have access to the electricity grid as it guarantees energy continuity where the grid is not available.
AMAZZONIA PROJECT
Hydrogen derived from renewable sources plays a strategic role in the energy transition process. Simplifhy works to propose efficient and sustainable hydrogen solutions that can facilitate the decarbonisation of the ceramic industry. In particular, we can support you in setting up your hydrogen plant. We act as a supplier of complete solutions, from the design and engineering phases to the commissioning and operation of the plant.
CPL Serravalle
One of the main sectors to be addressed is transport, and it is in this area that Simplifhy’s contribution to the SerraHydrogenValle Project falls. Our company’s added value is its ability to find industrial partners to whom it can pass on specific hydrogen expertise and with whom it can collaborate on innovative projects and large, complex infrastructures.
