We are pleased to announce that we have signed a partnership with the French company HRS. The aim of this collaboration is to promote the decarbonisation of transport in the Italian market.
As we mentioned in a previous news, the decarbonisation of transport is one of the main factors in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Indeed, the transformation of this sector can lead to a 90% reduction in CO2 emissions.
With this in mind, we chose to collaborate with HRS precisely because it is a pioneer in hydrogen mobility. Moreover, it is one of Europe’s leading designers and manufacturers of filling stations and is committed to reducing CO2 emissions in the transport sector.
With a robust experience developed over almost 20 years, HRS has a complete range of hydrogen fueling stations. These solutions are suitable for all types of fuel cell vehicles, which means that this range is perfectly suited to the needs of a fast-growing European market.
Finally, its expertise has led to the development of state-of-the-art stations with competitive advantages:
- at technical level, such as standardisation of components for different projects
- on a commercial level, such as optimised delivery times

What the partnership between HRS and Simplifhy foresees
The partnership between HRS and Simplifhy involves the design, production, sale and maintenance of hydrogen fueling stations for all types of vehicles.
This collaboration falls within the broad context of the PNRR for public transport. Specifically, on 1 July 2022, the Italian government allocated EUR 530 million from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) to hydrogen experimentation for public transport, both rail and road.
In addition to this, the plan includes a target to build at least 40 roadside refueling stations for light and heavy vehicles and 9 for trains by 2026.
Thanks to the collaboration between Simplifhy and HRS, this is possible:
- on the one hand offering refueling stations to the Italian market
- on the other hand support customers with a local, dedicated and experienced team reducing costs and installation time
