As part of the SerraHydrogenValle project, we support CPL Concordia with the design of fire-fighting cooling systems.
CPL Concordia is a cooperative company that builds complex technological plants of various types to support the energy transition:
- photovoltaics
- biomethane
- cogeneration
- natural gas distribution
- production and supply of hydrogen and liquid natural gas (LNG)
Among other things, the company won the contract for the tender of Milano Serravalle-Milano Tangenziali S.p.A. for the construction of five hydrogen vehicle refuelling stations.
The new stations will be built by June 2026 in service areas in the municipalities of Tortona, Carugate and Rho.
The collaboration with CPL Concordia for the SerraHydrogenValle project
For the SerraHydrogenValle project tender, the Simplifhy team helped outline some of the technological solutions used by CPL Concordia in the tender phase. In addition, we are also contributing in the execution phase as technical advisor.

The one with CPL Concordia is a strategic collaboration of great importance. In fact, the aim of this project is to develop Italy’s first motorway network for hydrogen refuelling and thus initiate large-scale use of this alternative fuel for sustainable mobility.
Simplifhy’s sprinkler system project
We at Simplifhy designed the Sprinkler system, which is necessary for cooling the tanks in the event of a fire breaking out on the premises.
In fact, in the authorisation phase CPL Concordia had to realise the cooling system for the storage and tank rooms, which are the parts with the largest amount of hydrogen.
So we carried out the design of the cooling plant in accordance with the relevant decrees, guaranteeing the highest levels of safety required, performance and the possibility of servicing the various systems.
