From October 20 to 22, 2026, Simplifhy will be in Hamburg for the Hydrogen Technology World Expo, one of the leading international events dedicated to hydrogen technologies and decarbonization solutions.
We will be at booth 6E50 of H2IT – the Italian Hydrogen Association – to help showcase the expertise, technologies, and design capabilities of the Italian hydrogen industry.
Participation in the Hydrogen Expo will also be an opportunity to present H2EPIC, the Hydrogen Engineering Partners Italian Consortium—an Italian consortium formed through the collaboration between Simplifhy, ESE Engineering Services for Energy, and CED Ingegneria. At the expo, we will showcase to industry professionals, investors, and international partners an integrated engineering model dedicated to the development of complex projects in the green hydrogen sector.
Hydrogen Technology World Expo: An International Forum on the Hydrogen Value Chain
The event will take place in Germany at the Hamburg Messe and will bring together companies, technology providers, engineering firms, institutions, and professionals involved in the development of the hydrogen economy.
The event features two adjacent exhibition and conference areas:
- Hydrogen Technology World Expo
- Carbon Capture Technology World Expo.
The 2026 edition is expected to feature over 1,000 exhibiting companies and more than 200 speakers.
The technical and conference program will cover numerous topics:
- green hydrogen production
- electrolyzers
- fuel cells
- infrastructure
- safety
- transportation and storage
- industrial applications
- low-carbon hydrogen
- CO₂ and CCUS
- carbon capture technologies
- mobility
- sustainable fuels.
The combined presence of hydrogen technologies and carbon capture systems reflects the evolution of industrial decarbonization pathways. Reducing emissions, in fact, requires a combination of multiple tools: electrification, power generation from renewable sources, the use of hydrogen in processes that are difficult to electrify, and—where necessary—the capture, utilization, and storage of CO₂.
In this context, the Hydrogen Technology World Expo and the Carbon Capture Technology World Expo offer a unique vantage point on solutions that are moving from the development phase to practical implementation.
For us at Simplifhy, participating in this trade show is an opportunity to engage with an international supply chain that includes component manufacturers, system integrators, end users, energy operators, and financial institutions.
Simplifhy at the H2IT Booth: Italian Expertise for Hydrogen Projects
Simplifhy will participate in the event at booth 6E50 of H2IT, an association founded in 2005 to promote the advancement of knowledge and the study of technologies and systems related to the production and use of hydrogen.
This collective presence highlights the contribution of Italian companies in a market that requires multidisciplinary expertise, integration capabilities, and knowledge of various application contexts.
Simplifhy operates as a solution provider for industrial decarbonization, developing plants and solutions based on the use of hydrogen as an energy carrier and alternative fuel. Our support includes pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, design and detailed engineering, the permitting process, supplier selection, plant commissioning, and plant management.
Our approach starts with the project’s actual needs to identify technical configurations consistent with the industrial process and the expected decarbonization outcome, through customized solutions tailored to clients’ specific requirements.
Simplifhy’s expertise covers the production, storage, and use of hydrogen, with applications in power generation, industrial processes, and mobility. The Hamburg trade show will therefore offer us the opportunity to contribute to the debate on the state of the art and future prospects for hydrogen, as well as to explore potential collaborations across the entire hydrogen value chain.
H2EPIC: Integrated Engineering for Green Hydrogen
One of the central themes of our participation will be H2EPIC, the Italian consortium formed by Simplifhy, ESE Engineering Services for Energy, and CED Ingegneria to provide the market with a single point of contact capable of managing hydrogen projects of varying scales and complexities.
H2EPIC brings together over 70 professionals and integrates expertise in process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, instrumentation and control, piping, layout, and project management. The consortium can support clients from the feasibility study through basic and detailed engineering, all the way to owner’s engineering, EPCM services, construction supervision, commissioning, and operational management of assets.
The offering covers hydrogen production, storage, infrastructure, and end-use applications in transportation, industry, heating, and power generation. This approach addresses one of the market’s key needs: the unified coordination of technical disciplines, permits, suppliers, safety, and implementation phases.
Our presence in Hamburg will allow us to present H2EPIC to an international audience and highlight the contribution that Italian engineering can make to the construction of green hydrogen facilities. The consortium was established to combine the flexibility of individual companies with the operational capacity of a multidisciplinary structure, suitable for both pilot projects and larger-scale infrastructure.
From Technology to the Implementation of Concrete Projects
The growth of the hydrogen value chain depends not only on the availability of technologies but also on the ability to transform them into projects that can be approved, financed, and are safe and sustainable over the long term.
